The preliminary stages of the Buncrana Cup (Inter-County U16) took place on Saturday 30th April 2011 at three different venues: Moneyglass, Scotstown and Ogra Colmcille.
Three Counties qualified for the semi-finals of the Buncrana Cup on the 13th August, namely Donegal who won Group 1, Cavan who topped Group 2 and Derry who edged through in Group 3.
The other six Counties will come together on the 6th August to play off to see who joins the three group winners in the semi-finals a week later.
