Applications are now open for the 2026 Ulster GAA Club Infrastructure Development Grants.

The Club Infrastructure Development Grants aim to assist clubs in the improvement and development of their physical infrastructure. Both Ulster Council and Central Council have contributed to this grant funding and grants can only be awarded to clubs with vested properties in the GAA.

The following areas of Club Expenditure may be considered for support:

  • Land Acquisition
  • Pitch Development and Ball Wall
  • LED Lighting and Spectator Provision
  • Pavilion and Access Development
  • Pitch Verti-Draining/ Sanding

Key Terms & Conditions

  • The Club must complete the online application form by 12 Noon, Friday the 6th of November with all required information included as detailed below:
    • Declaration of Trust
    • Copy of the club’s 2024 and 2025 accounts
    • Completed Grant Expenditure Template in GBP or Euro
    • Evidence of spend including the relevant invoices, bank statements evidencing the spend and details of all external grant support received
  • Grants can only be awarded to GAA Clubs who are compliant with the GAA code of Trust in relation to GAA Property. The Real Property owned by a club will be vested in the following:
    • Up to four Trustees, up to three of whom will be appointed for and on behalf of a Club and the Corporate Trustee will be appointed for and on behalf of the relevant county committee and provincial council; or
    • One Trustee being the Corporate Trustee.
  • The form must be submitted by an officer (Chair, Secretary or Treasurer) of the club using an official GAA email address
  • The works must have been completed and paid for within the period 01/10/2024 to 30/09/2026
  • Only Capital Development works as outlined in the Grant Scales document will be considered for support
  • Maintenance and repair costs are not eligible. Please note that pitch cutting, fertilising and other forms of pitch maintenance are not allowed
