Club Maith and Planning Workshop

October 3rd, 2012

Ulster GAA will be holding training for Club Maith Facilitators and training for Club Planners on Wednesday 10th October 2012 in The Morgan Athletic Grounds from 7pm – 10pm.
*This will replace the previously advertised training event on Saturday 29th September.

The Club Maith Facilitator training is for all current Facilitators and for NEW Facilitators. We are currently looking to increase our bank of active Facilitators in order to deal with the growing prevalence of clubs submitting completed Club Maith Portfolios. As the ClubMaith Portfolio was updated in 2012 current Facilitators are also encouraged to attend.Full details of what is involved in the process, and an in-depth look at Club Maith criteria will be covered. Ulster GAA would welcome interest from people who have served at club or county board officer level, or have auditing experience through their career.

The Club Planners training is for all current and NEW Club Planners and serves the purpose of each county holding a substantial bank of active Club Planners. Although manyclubs already have a five year Club Development Plan in place, many of these will need updating, and those clubs without a Club Development Plan are expected to have one in place by 2015. This training will build on the huge amount of work that has already taken place in this area, and will enable each county to better roll-out the National Club Planning Programme. Ulster GAA would welcome interest from people who have served at county board officer level, or who have Facilitation experience through their career.

Participants are encouraged to attend both aspects of the training in order to feature on the Ulster GAA database of trained Facilitators and Planners.
