Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Ard Mhacha, in partnership with Armagh Hurling and Camogie Boards, hosted a very successful blitz at two venues in Armagh City on Thursday 17th October 2013.

In the superior playing conditions of Callanbridge and Sherry’s Field the young budding hurlers and camogs from fourteen of our primary schools displayed great skills, passion and sportmanship for their respective games giving much for their teachers, mentors and supporters to enjoy.

Cumann na mBunscol would like to thank the boys and girls from St Francis of Assisi PS Keady, Armagh CBS, St John’s PS Middletown, Our Lady’s and St Mochua’s PS Doire Núís, St Malachy’s PS Armagh, St Joseph’s PS Madden, St Jarlath’s PS Blackwatertown, St Jospeh’s PS Bessbrook, Mount St Catherine’s PS Armagh, St Francis’ PS Lurgan, St Peter’s PS Cloughreagh, St Malachy’s PS Camlough, St Patrick’s PS Armagh and Clonalig PS for their attendance and look forward to seeing them again at the second blitz in term two.

Cumann na mBunscol would also like to thank Ronan McWilliams (Ulster GAA), Lisa McAliskey (Ulster Camogie), Marie Fanthorpe (Armagh Camogie) and their referees for organising the blitz. It was a thoroughly enjoyable occasion for all.
