GAA Memorabilia Collectors Fair

January 19th, 2011

Dedicated GAA followers from every province in Ireland will descend on Armagh on Saturday 22 January, for the third national GAA Programme and Memorabilia Collectors’ Fair, at the Cardinal Ó Fiaich Library & Archive.

The last two fairs at the same venue drew fans from as far away as Limerick and Wexford, and it is already confirmed that those attending this year’s event will come from every corner of Ireland, from Antrim to Cork.

The library itself will make a wide range of surplus old and recent match-programmes, magazines, annuals, books, official booklets, reports, posters and other ephemera, available for exchange or sale on the day. As before, the fair’s success depends to a large extent on collectors bringing a substantial amount of material with them to exchange or sell.

The fair will start at 10.30 a.m. There is no charge for entry, but voluntary donations are vital to the upkeep of the library, and are very much appreciated. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided.

If you have any queries about the event, please e-mail roddy.hegarty@ofiaich.ie, or ring the library at 028/048-37522981.
