Semi-final draws for the MacRory and MacLarnon
The draws for the semi-finals of both the Danske Bank Bank MacRory and MacLarnon Cups were made immediately after the game and the MacRory draw guarantees an Armagh team in the decider with St Patrick’s coming out of the Cup alongside St Ronan’s Lurgan who had held off Patrician Carrickmacross on Friday evening.
In the other half of the draw, there could well be an all-south Derry clash if holders St Mary’s Magherafelt can beat Omagh CBS in tomorrow night’s (WEDNESDAY) remaining quarter-final. St Patrick’s Maghera are awaiting the outcome of that game.
Meanwhile in the Danske Bank Dr MacLarnon Cup semi-finals, Our Lady’s and St Patrick’s Knock will face last year’s beaten finalists Holy Trinity Cookstown, while there could be an all-Donegal tie if Scoileanna Inis Eoghain come through their postponed quarter-final against Our Lady’s Castleblayney.
St Eunan’s Letterkenny await the outcome of that game
Meanwhile there is a very tight time-table for the O’Doherty Cup after three games today fell victim to the weather. The All Ireland semi-final v Rathkeel (Munster champions) will be played at Abbotstown on Saturday 3rd March.
