Joint Sports Volunteering forum to explore how to re-engage volunteers

October 6th, 2021

Ulster GAA in partnership with the Irish FA and Ulster Rugby are hosting a multi-sport volunteering forum on Monday 18th October 2021 to explore ways to re-engage sports volunteers.
The past 18 months have been extremely difficult for sports clubs dealing with uncertainty around organising events and competitions and also dealing with anxiety around volunteer and participant safety.  This joint forum, funded by the Department for Communities, will explore how clubs can re-engage volunteers, through the experiences of clubs across the three sports.  Learning from each other is vital as we move to more positive times and this forum will help to explore how to recruit, retain and recognise sports volunteers for the benefit of your club and your community.
This online forum is for any club interested in increasing their volunteer base and will also provide useful advice on how to get the best out of your existing volunteer base.  Everyone is welcome to attend but registration is essential.  To register log onto: multisportvolunteerforum.eventbrite.co.uk
