Ulster GAA is saddened to learn of the death of Sean Harte after a short illness. Sean was an icon of the GAA in Canada, twinning partner of Ulster GAA, and was current secretary of the Canadian County Committee. He has held numerous positions in Canada GAA, including that of Chairperson.
We send our deepest sympathy to his wife Noelle, his children Justin and Catherine. We also express our condolences to Canada GAA, the Toronto Divisional Board and his clubs also. We remember also his family and friends in his native Loughmacrory and his many friends and acquaintances across the GAA family.
Sean was the mastermind behind numerous GAA tours to Toronto and through his vision and foresight the first All Canadian Championships were held last year.
He was a great friend of Ulster GAA and the GAA family is much the poorer today with his passing.
