Club Gaeilge na Bliana 2023: An Gearrliosta – CLG Chill Chartha, Dún na nGall

March 6th, 2024

Tá CLG Uladh go mór faoi chomaoin ag na clubanna iontacha fud fad an chúige seo a dhéanann obair iontach ar son na teanga.

Táimid eolach ar chuid mhaith den obair seo. Tá go leor oibre ag dul ar aghaidh nach bhfuil i mbéal an phobail, áfach, agus tá sé rí-thábhachtach go dtugtar aird ar na hiarrachtaí sin. Is as an bhearna sin a d’eascair coincheap an ghradaim seo. Ba mhaith linn deis a thabhairt do chlub amháin gach bliain aird a tharraingt orthu féin, agus a gcuid oibre ar son na Gaeilge a chur ar ár súile dúinn.

Ba mhaith linn comhghairdeas ó chroí a dhéanamh le CLG Chill Chartha, Dún na nGall agus iad a mholadh go hard na spéire as an obair atá ar bun acu, Sheas an club seo amach mar gheall ar an phlean teanga a chruthaigh siad le linn 2023. Tá fís ag muintir Chill Chartha maidir leis an Ghaeilge, agus tá sé sin sna fonsaí tógála san am i láthair.

Is iad atá tuisceanach ar phleanáil teanga nó is club sa Ghaeltacht é clubtheach Chill Chartha agus léiríonn siad tábhacht na pleanála seo sa straitéis a chruthaigh siad i leith na Gaeilge:

CLG Chill Chartha Club Gaeilge

Is iomaí rud atá ar bun ag an chlub, i measc na n-iarrachtaí a rinneadh in 2023, tá:

– Bonn cré-umha bainte amach le Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha

– Coiste an chlub ag feabhsú a gcuid Gaeilge

– An Ghaeilge le feiceáil ar ardáin an chlub ar na meáin shóisialta

– La spraoi teaghlaigh eagraithe, chomh maith le pop-up Gaeltacht

Molaimid an obair atá ar bun ag CLG Chill Chartha an Ghaeilge a chur ar shúile an phobail agus ba chóir go mbeadh an coiste agus na hoibrithe deonacha atá taobh thiar den fhás iontach seo an-bhródúil astu féin. Go n-éirí go geal libh agus leis an phlean cuimsitheach seo atá leagtha amach!

CLG Chill Chartha succeeded in being shortlisted for Club Gaeilge na Bliana 2023 through the mammoth efforts they have made to ensure Gaeilge is front and centre in club life, these efforts include:

– Bronze award with Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha

– Committee members using and improving their Gaeilge

– Gaeilge visibile on social media platforms and around the clubhouse

– Family fun day through Irish, as well as Pop-up Gaeltacht events organised

CLG Chill Chartha are to be commended for this dedication to forbairt na Gaeilge, but they stood out during the shortlisting process due to the comprehensive and detailed plan and strategy devised for the future of their club and the central role Gaeilge will play in that. You can read this strategy above – an excellent example of what can be done to bring An Ghaeilge to the fore the GAA club when we work together!
