A pair of Ulster GAA football coaching workshops are taking place over the coming summer months.
The Summer Coach Development Programme (CDP) will explore topics across GAA Coaching & Games and will be delivered by coaching experts.
Tools of the Trade for Goalkeepers – Liam Swift

Kildress Wolfe Tones GAC, Co. Tyrone
Liam is an experienced goalkeeping coach of over 15 years and has coached in numerous counties including Monaghan, Tyrone and Dublin.
This outdoor observation session will focus on two key areas in goalkeeping:
- The technique of kicking high and low from restarts
- All aspects of shot-stopping

Improving your Coaching using Video Clips – Philip Kerr

Philip is a Master Tutor for the GAA and is an author of a number of coaching books, as well as coaching numerous teams down the years.
This indoor workshop will include:
- The use of best practise video clips to establish weekly coaching themes
- Focusing players on areas for improvement
- Establishing patterns of play that deliver success
- Staying ahead of the competition
