
Antrim
Following a dramatic weekend of action the pairings for the knockout stages of the Antrim SHC are confirmed, with Cushendall and Dunloy straight through to the semi-finals.
O’Donovan Rossa face St John’s in the quarter-finals with the winners set to meet Cushendall. On the other side of the draw, Loughgiel clash with Ballycastle with Dunloy awaiting the victors.
Armagh
In Group B the Armagh SFC, Cullyhanna staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Mullaghbawn 1-16 to 1-13, earning a place in the quarter-finals alongside Crossmaglen, Maghery and Clann Éireann. Mullaghbawn go into the play-off quarter-finals, which are as follows:
- Killeavy v Mullaghbawn
- St Peters v Culloville
- Carrickcruppen v Granemore
- Madden v Armagh Harps
Cavan
It was a busy weekend of SFC action in Cavan with Arva, Cavan Gaels, Mullahoran, Ballinagh, and Gowna all securing wins, while Kingscourt Stars and Crosserlough drew.
The quarter-final pairings are as follows:
- Crosserlough v Arva
- Gowna v Cavan Gaels
- Kingscourt Stars v Ballyhaise
- Mullahoran v Ramor United
Derry
Sleacht Néill, seeking to make it 13-in-a-row in the Derry SHC, were convincing winners over Lavey by 0-25 to 0-14. A semi-final against Swatragh awaits.
In the other last four encounter, Ballinascreen will meet Kevin Lynchs Dungiven.
Donegal
Gaoth Dobhair, Dungloe, Kilcar and St Michael’s are all straight through to the quarter-finals of the Donegal SFC.
The preliminary quarter-finals, which take place next weekend, are as follows:
- St Eunan’s v Termon
- Seán MacCumhaills v Na Dúnaibh
- Four Masters v Glenswilly
- Naomh Conaill v Killybegs
Down
In the Round 2 winners’ group of the Down SFC, Warrenpoint were three-point winners over Drumgath, while James and Daniel Guinness starred in Carryduff’s victory over Glenn, and Burren had eight points to spare over Loughinisland.
In the qualifiers’ section, RGU Downpatrick produced a dynamic display to knock Mayobridge out, winning 4-14 to 1-15. Ballyholland and Castlewellan had respective one-point wins over Saul and Bryansford, and Bredagh defeated Liatroim 3-14 to 2-15.
Fermanagh
Derrygonnelly Harps received a tough test from Belnaleck, but still prevailed 0-16 to 0-14 winners. Ederney edged out Teemore, while a late Dylan Boyle score earned a draw for Kinawley with holders Erne Gaels. Lisnaskea eliminated last year’s finalists Enniskillen Gaels, 0-16 to 1-11.
Monaghan
Magheracloone, Inniskeen, Clontibret and Scotstown all registered Monaghan SFC Round 4 wins.
Inniskeen have now topped Group 2, and go through to the semi-finals. Top spot in Group 2 is still up for grabs, with Scotstown, Clontibret and Corduff all in the running going into this weekend’s final round of games.
