GAA For All Club HERO Programme
Every club needs a H.E.R.O.
As part of the Ulster GAA inclusion initiative, we are currently promoting the GAA for All Club HERO Programme. This project will offer clubs the chance to nominate someone with a learning or physical disability in their club or community to become a HERO.
The programme will assist clubs in promoting inclusion in their communities by offering people with a disability opportunities for participation in the local club in a variety of ways.
Participants will receive an Ulster GAA H.E.R.O. merchandise pack, certificate, and each individual’s profile will appear on the Ulster GAA Website.

Inclusion and engagement with disabilities is a key theme in our Games Strategy. Opportunities exist for coaching through schools and in clubs. Coach and teacher education opportunities to improve coaching practice are presented in our GAA for ALL programmes.
Our games opportunities are accessible to everyone and staff are engaged in regular upskilling to ensure that this is delivered. We have worked closely with Disability Sport NI and the GAA Inclusion Officer to ensure that we offer a comprehensive and challenging programme for players, support staff and coaches.
