Ulster GAA encourages all our clubs and units to be open, welcoming and inclusive. It is important that our association is diverse and promotes equality.
In recent years clubs have availed of workshops promoting inclusivity and these have ben delivered as part of DfC “Sport a Home for Lifelong Volunteering” programme or Peace IV “Sport Uniting Communities” programme.
Our clubs are encouraged to adopt policies around Equality, Inclusivity and Diversity and in addition to these we have a multisport Inclusion Charter which clubs can sign up to.
Through Department of Foreign Affairs reconciliation fund we currently deliver “Inclusive Clubs” workshop to sports clubs right across Ulster.
