A group of girls from Limavady created unforgettable memories recently as they travelled to London to represent their schools and hometown at the All-Britain Competition Games, taking part through Ulster GAA’s Cúchulainn Initiative.
Representing the Limavady Cúchulainns, the squad was made up of pupils from Limavady High School, Limavady Grammar School and St Mary’s High School, Limavady.
The Cúchulainn Initiative, Ulster GAA’s flagship cross-community programme, brings together young people from diverse backgrounds through Gaelic Games while promoting friendship, understanding, and reconciliation.

Competing in the U16 girls’ competition at the Hazelwood Centre, the team demonstrated excellent teamwork, determination, and fair play throughout the tournament, proudly representing both their schools and the Limavady community.
Away from the playing field, the group enjoyed a memorable sightseeing tour of London, taking in famous landmarks including Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square before enjoying team-building activities together, creating friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
