Five GAA clubs have successfully achieved Ulster GAA’s Prestigious Elevate Award in 2018.
Applications are now open for clubs wishing to enter the 2018 Ulster Senior Hurling Tain Club League.
In a bid to respond to the growing importance of the work being undertaken by clubs and schools in terms of developing and promoting all aspects of the GAA, a range of new categories introduced in the Irish News School, Club and Volunteer Awards that will create further opportunities for potential new entrants.
Ulster GAA, the Irish Football Association and Ulster Rugby today launched ‘Sport Uniting Communities’ an EU PEACE IV funded programme which aims to promote peace and reconciliation.
The Cúchulainn Initiative aims to afford young people from different backgrounds the opportunity to engage with one another, and to educate people not traditionally involved with the GAA more about the Association.
Indoor hurling programme ensuring young Hurlers across the Province get the opportunity to play the game.

The winners will now progress to the Ulster Final in Silverbridge, Co. Armagh on 24th March at 5pm.
After the snowy weather conditions of last week saw a wipe out of the planned fixtures schedule across the province, this weekend will welcome the start of a number of underage competitions for our counties in Ulster. The Bank of Ireland Celtic Challenge, The Jim McGuigan Minor Football League and the Buncrana Cup will all have game time.
