Joint event aims to reach ‘Beyond the Game’

Major players from Gaelic Games, Rugby and Soccer came together recently to launch the Beyond the Game event; a joint good relations event next month which is aimed at supporting local sports clubs and promoting positive community relations.

Exactly 1,000 years ago this month, Brian Ború was killed during the Battle of Clontarf. Ború’s body is buried in the grounds of St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral, Armagh, about 100 yards from the Ulster GAA head office.
