This popular programme has evolved from when it was first introduced in 2004. With the growing interest in our games and young children coming to our clubs, there was a need to support our coaches in this early years and nursery space.
The benefits to children are that it gives them their first experience of sport in both the school and community club, in a fun and safe environment with special games and physical literacy activities that are transferable across all sports.
The focus is to get quality engagement through quality coaches and develop strong club-school links in the process. We want children to be active for life and to become lifelong members of our clubs.
