The Player Pathway framework is based on an Australian Player Pathway model (FTEM) adapted to the GAA context. It is designed around a set of core principles that align with core values of the GAA, the LGFA and Camogie associations. It ensures that there are opportunities for everyone to experience Gaelic games whilst providing the best development experiences for our players.

The GAA’s Talent Academy and Player Development Review Committee 2019, adopted the framework and are working now to align coach education with the FTEM model.
